Owner
Love is a seasoned practitioner with 15 years of experience in the field of Healing. She understands the importance of treating the whole person, recognizing that true healing encompasses not only physical well-being but also mental, emotional, social, and ancestral factors. By taking the time to listen to each individual's needs, Love collaborates with her clients to create a personalized health journey that honors their unique path to wellness.
In 2009, Love earned her certification in Bowen Therapy (Lashell), followed by a certification as a holistic massage practitioner from Fair Oaks Holistic Institute in California. She further expanded her knowledge with advanced training in complementary therapies, including Cranial Sacral, Heart-Centered Therapy (ancestral healing), Energy Medicine, and specialized techniques in Lymphatic Drainage & Brain Therapy (Chikly). From 2016 to 2022, Love had the privilege of being a Teaching Assistant to Bruno Chikly, deepening her expertise in these transformative practices.
In 2018, Love began teaching Manual Lymphatic Drainage at the Fair Oaks Holistic Institute, where she finds joy in sharing her passion and knowledge with students. That same year, she embarked on a profound spiritual journey with two respected Maestros Curanderos (Lydia Turco—Thunder Buffalo Woman & Francois Hascot—Pancho Crazy Deer), studying the Shipibo tradition and integrating sacred knowledge from Master Plant Dietas, SIBA Technology, and Shamanic Healing.
Love's commitment to expanding her wisdom led her to study at the California College of Herbal Studies, where she explored Body Systems and the art of harvesting roots. She further enriched her practice in 2023 by studying the Principles of Ayurveda and Ayurvedic Bodywork at the California College of Ayurveda.
With a deep belief in the power of the lymphatic system as a cornerstone of healing, Love is dedicated to supporting the mind, body, and spirit in achieving balance and vitality. Through her compassionate and holistic approach, she aims to guide her clients on their personal healing journeys with care, respect, and expertise.

Heather Star
Manager
Heather is the Spa Operations Manager at NOL Sanctuary, where she brings together nearly two decades of experience in client care, wellness, business operations, marketing, and community building.
With a background in dental and medical spa administration, certification in massage therapy, and training as a Mind-Body Medicine Facilitator, Heather has long been passionate about the connection between the physical body, emotional well-being, and the environments that help people feel deeply cared for.
At NOL, Heather supports the day-to-day flow of the sanctuary while helping expand its offerings, partnerships, events, memberships, and community presence. She loves creating experiences that feel both beautifully organized and deeply nourishing—where clients can step away from the demands of daily life and return to themselves.
Outside of NOL, Heather is a sacred songstress, storyteller, event producer, and community weaver. Her work is rooted in the belief that self-care can be a meaningful act of devotion and that when we create space to receive, reconnect with our bodies, and care for ourselves intentionally, transformation becomes possible.
Heather is honored to help cultivate NOL as a sanctuary where modern wellness, ancient wisdom, beauty, embodiment, and genuine human connection can meet.

Elia Lavado
Massage Therapist
Elia is a certified massage therapist whose work is rooted in an integrative approach to bodywork and somatic healing. Drawing from her background in dance, intuitive movement, and holistic wellness, she works with the body as an interconnected system, honoring both its physical structure and its subtle rhythms.
Her practice weaves together modalities including Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial release, prenatal, Thai, Shiatsu, and energy-based practices. Each session is thoughtfully adapted to the individual, creating space for the body to soften, release tension, and reconnect with a greater sense of ease and awareness.
Elia believes that healing can begin in moments of stillness, presence, and attentive touch. Her intention is to offer a grounded, nurturing approach to massage that supports each person in developing a deeper relationship with their own body.

Jessica is a Sonoma County native who has called Sebastopol home for the past 14 years. A proud mom of two daughters, she brings the same warmth and care she offers her family into every treatment room at NOL Sanctuary.
As an esthetician, Jessica is passionate about healing through touch, with a special focus on manual lymphatic drainage. She's fascinated by the body's energy systems and facial structure, and by the ways intentional, skilled touch can support not just the skin, but a person's overall sense of well-being. Every session she offers is rooted in this belief: that true care goes beyond the surface.
Before finding her calling as an esthetician, Jessica spent six years working as a pastry chef. That craft taught her the value of creativity, precision, and thoughtful attention to detail — qualities she now brings to her work with clients, along with a deep appreciation for creating meaningful, memorable experiences.
Jessica is continually learning and growing in her practice, and she's dedicated to creating a warm, welcoming space where clients can slow down, feel truly cared for, and reconnect with themselves.

Simone's path to becoming an esthetician grew out of a deep appreciation of nature, something clients feel in every treatment, from the organic, plant-based skincare she chooses to the unhurried pace she keeps in the room. Along the way, she discovered what matters most to her in this work: a true heart connection with each client, and her full presence in every moment they share, so they leave lighter and more radiant than they arrived.
Simone lives in western Sonoma County, a place people travel to from all over when they need to slow down and breathe. The redwoods, the coastline, the food grown just down the road — it all restores her, and her work is how she passes that feeling along.
Time with Simone is a chance to set everything down and let the body remember how to rest. As a treatment unfolds, the breath deepens, tension clients didn't know they were holding begins to melt, and the whole system settles into the deep parasympathetic state where true healing happens. Many of her clients drift off entirely, and few things bring her more joy. Skin glows when the body beneath it feels safe and cared for.
Simone trained at the San Francisco Institute of Esthetics and Cosmetology and studied the Dr. Vodder method of manual lymphatic drainage. She holds advanced certifications in Lymphatic Drainage for the Face & Neck and Advanced Facial Massage Techniques. Every treatment is customized in the moment: she watches what the skin is telling her, adjusts as she goes, and focuses on what truly works for each client.
When she's not in the treatment room, you'll find Simone hiking, dancing, and eating as farm-fresh as possible. She would love to share this beautiful, restorative place with you.
